Cultural Heritage Preservation Act, Article 71, stipulates that “To meet the needs of research and promotion, a public antiquity custodian agency (institution) may reproduce or supervise the reproduction of the antiquities under its custody with its name put onto such productions. Unless there are the permission and supervision from the custodian agency (institution), no third party may further reproduce such reproduced antiquities.”
The models in this 3D database represent the actual size of the archeological relics, which is for research use only. Any 3D printing, reverse engineering and reproductions of archeological relics shall be governed by the Article 71 of Cultural Heritage Preservation Act and related regulations. Also, it shall be reviewed and consented under the Collection management regulation by National Museum of Prehistory.
